Longview Aviation Capital Corp. is a prominent Canadian investment firm established in 2016 to manage a portfolio of long-term investments in the Canadian aerospace industry. Longview includes the assets of Viking Air Limited, De Havilland Aircraft of Canada Limited (owner of the Dash 8 program including Series 100, 200, 300 and in-production 400 program), Longview Aviation Training and Longview Aviation Services.

Longview, through its subsidiaries, holds the Type Certificates for the entire product line of the original De Havilland Canada Aircraft Company, and together these companies continue to make strides in modernizing versatile, fuel efficient and environmentally responsible turboprop aircraft for use by operators around the world. Longview has a workforce of approximately 2,200 full-time employees in manufacturing and aircraft service support in locations across Canada, including Victoria, Calgary, and Toronto.

Viking Air Limited (Viking)

Winner of the 2018 Floyd Award for outstanding contributions to the Canadian Aerospace industry, Viking Air Ltd. is the manufacturer of the world-renowned Twin Otter Series 400 and Guardian 400 twin-engine turbo-prop aircraft. Headquartered in Victoria, British Columbia, Viking is the Type Certificate holder for all out-of-production De Havilland Canada aircraft (DHC-1 through the DHC-7) and all Canadair amphibious aircraft, including CL-215, CL-215T & CL-415 aerial firefighters.

In 2020 Viking celebrates its 50th anniversary in the Canadian aerospace industry, marking a significant milestone in the company’s journey to become a dynamic world-class organization that embraces new technology and innovative product and process development in support of legendary Canadian aircraft.

As the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) for numerous iconic Canadian aircraft designs, Viking fully supports a diverse global operator base with exclusive factory spare parts manufacturing, in-service engineering & technical support, technical publications, warranty administration, and field service support.

Pacific Sky Aviation Inc.

Headquartered in Victoria, British Columbia, with additional operations at its Twin Otter flight test and training centre in Calgary, Alberta, Pacific Sky operates the world’s only certified Category “D” Full-Flight Simulator for the Series 400 Twin Otter, complete with seaplane simulation capabilities.

For over 25 years, Pacific Sky has been a Transport Canada approved provider of flight training, including initial licensing and ratings for new pilots, Multi-Engine and IFR Training.  Since the launch of the Series 400 Twin Otter in 2007, Pacific Sky has provided advanced Twin Otter training for pilots throughout the world.

Longview Aviation Services. (LAS)

In 2018, LAS, in partnership with Viking, formally launched the CL-415EAF "Enhanced Aerial Firefighter" conversion program. The CL-415EAF combines the proven performance of the CL-215 airframe with modern upgrades to create the next generation of the world’s only purpose-built aerial firefighter and multi-mission amphibious platform.
